This guide will walk you through how to start streaming on IRIAM.
Streaming Start Paths
Currently, on IRIAM, the streaming feature is available only to a limited number of users through an application process.
To start streaming on IRIAM, there are a few different ways to get started.
The application process depends on your current situation, so please refer to the flowchart below to find the right path for you.
① Streaming Application Form with L2D model
You can stream using a Live2D model on IRIAM.
To perform Live2D streaming, you need to upload the runtime files of your Live2D model to your IRIAM account.
Additionally, IRIAM requires some adjustments to ensure that Live2D models operate properly on smartphones.

Prepare Live2D model for IRIAMIf you would like to stream using your own Live2D, please apply through the form below.
For the question “Which type of model do you plan to use primarily?” in the form, please answer Live2D model.
Applicants who have passed the review will be contacted via email.
Once access to the streaming feature is granted, you’ll be able to upload your Live2D model to your IRIAM account using a web tool called IRIAM Chara Checker.
② Streaming Application Form with PNG model
Even if you don’t have a Live2D model, you can still stream using illustration data of your model.
This feature is designed not only to provide more people with the opportunity to start VTuber activities, but also to offer those who already have a Live2D model an easy option to try out new outfits or stream using fan art, thereby expanding the ways they can create content.
The video below is a demo of PNG Streaming, using 4 images that show different patterns of eye and mouth.
As of May 2025, the PNG Streaming feature using a single image will be available, but we are planning to release support for using up to four images soon. While the demo video uses a chibi character, it is also possible to use a full-size character.

Illustration Guide for IRIAM PNG Streaming
If you would like to stream using your own character images, please apply through the form below.
For the question “Which type of model do you plan to use primarily?” in the form, please answer PNG Illustrations.
Applicants who have passed the review will be contacted via email.
Once access to the streaming feature is granted, you’ll be able to upload your illustration from the streaming setup screen in the app and start streaming right away.
③ Debut Support Program
Additionally, for those who wish to start their activities as a Vtuber but find it difficult to prepare their own illustrations, IRIAM offers a Debut Support Program, providing character illustrations compatible with the PNG Streaming feature.
