As IRIAM heads into its second year, we’re excited to bring you our very first update of the year!

The Search tab gets a makeover!

Recently, we’ve seen a rise in both new streamers on IRIAM US and new viewers joining the community. (We are so incredibly grateful for this!)

To support this growth and help every viewer find the streamer that’s perfect for them, we’ve completely overhauled the look and functionality of the "Search" tab in this update!

We’ve added a huge number of stream tags!

These profile tags are great for showcasing your hobbies and personality.

Previously, we only had a few dozen tags available... but in this update, we’ve added hundreds of new ones!

Here is what’s new with the tags:

• We’ve significantly expanded tags related to hobbies, streaming styles, music, and more!
• We’ve added tags for specific anime and game titles!
• We’ve combined the tag categories that were previously split between "topic" and "character."

Please take this opportunity to update the tags on your profile!

For instance, if you play Umamusume and want to find a Streamer who is just as obsessed with it as you are... the tag will definitely come in handy! Go ahead and try searching for the "Umamusume" tag in the Search tab.

Setting your hobbies can also be a great conversation starter during streams! Viewing a profile now makes it much easier to understand who someone is and what they enjoy. So, when a new viewer enters your stream, be sure to check out the tag section on their profile!

• We are planning an app update that will allow users living in Canada to stream and watch on IRIAM!
• We are looking into a feature that will allow you to set your own custom banned words for your streams.

We plan to implement these features within the next few months.
