This is the IRIAM US Team.

This month’s update focuses on two major themes:

Making it much smoother to check the “info you want” while you’re in a stream
Expanding the IRIAM US community beyond borders — Welcome, Canada! 🇨🇦

We’ll also share a quick recap of bug fixes, introduce IRIAM Town, and add a note about “date rollover” times, which have caused some confusion lately.

📱 New Feature：Stream Info Panel

While you’re watching (or streaming), have you ever thought:

“I want to quickly check something… but I don’t want to interrupt the flow of the stream…”

This update introduces a brand-new feature for exactly that: Stream Info Panel! ✨

How to use the Stream Info Panel

Tap the new button added to the bottom of the stream screen to open multiple panels that summarize stream information.

You can swipe to switch between panels.

(For Streamers: this update includes only one panel, so swiping isn’t available yet.)

We plan to add more types of information in future updates.

While the Stream Info Panel is open, comments move to the top—so you can check info while still watching the stream.

Here are the key benefits of the Stream Info Panel!

Quickly check what you want 👀

When you open the Stream Info Panel, you can check info like:

Viewer: stream title, your Fan Badge status, and more
Streamer: stream title, stream duration, Hype Score, and more

Toggle ON/OFF whenever you need 👆

The Stream Info Panel can be shown or hidden with a single button. You can keep it hidden when you don’t need it, and open it only when you want to check something.

Smooth experience—even while it’s open 💬

Even when the Stream Info Panel is open, you can still send comments and Gifts immediately as usual! It won’t interrupt the communication in the stream.

Small UI Change: Gift History has moved

We’re also reorganizing some of the information available on the stream screen, and changing how you access Gift History.

This update groups together information that’s closely related, making it more intuitive and easier to understand.

If you’re used to the current layout, it may feel a little confusing at first—but we’d really appreciate your understanding!

We’ll continue expanding this feature and adding more useful info based on your feedback!

🇨🇦 Welcome, Canada!

Until now, IRIAM US was only available to people living in the United States.

Starting with this update, people living in Canada will also be able to download IRIAM US on both iOS and Android and watch streams.

That means Canadian Viewers will be able to watch your streams, too!

Canada users will be able to enjoy IRIAM US together with US users—sharing stream lists, events, and more.

We hope this will gradually create new connections and new encounters across both communities!

For Canadian residents: Debut Support Program (Early Access) eligibility is expanding

Looking ahead to the February update, Canadian residents will now be eligible to apply for the Early Access Streamer (Debut Support Program), which previously was limited to US residents.

Planned for February: Welcome Canada Campaign

To welcome the new Canadian Streamers and Viewers joining us, we’re planning the Welcome Canada Campaign in February!

We’ll share the convention name and prize details as soon as everything is officially finalized!

Supporting a new region isn’t just a software update—it also involves compliance work and operational preparation.

Even so, we’ll keep moving forward to bring IRIAM to more people. ⛵️

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Improvements

Thank you as always for sending bug reports and feedback! Here are a few of the fixes included in this update:

✅ Fixed an issue with comment display caused by certain characters/emojis

In some cases, comments could display incorrectly or become garbled when they included specific characters or emojis. This issue has been fixed.

✅ Fixed an issue where L/R audio could be swapped during stereo viewing

When watching stereo streams, the left/right audio channels could sometimes be swapped. This issue has been fixed.

IRIAM supports stereo audio—so for streams where directional sound matters (like ASMR or binaural mic streams), audio will now come through the way the Streamer intended.

✅ iOS: Fixed an issue where the keyboard sometimes wouldn’t open when posting comments

We fixed an issue where, in rare cases, the keyboard wouldn’t open during comment posting.

🌟 Community & Heads-up

1) Starting next month, we’ll be adding new Gifts regularly! 🎁

Starting next month (February), we plan to regularly add new Gifts that can be used in ANY stream.

We’ll be adding not only Gifts that make everyday reactions and cheering more fun—but also Gifts that might inspire Streamers to come up with completely new styles of streams built around them. (And yes—please look forward to it! We’re already developing a few totally new Gift effects that we think everyone will have fun with.)

We want each month to bring a little something new as we add more Gifts and Mini Gifts, so please keep an eye out!

2) IRIAM Town is now OPEN! 🏘️

The official IRIAM US Discord server, IRIAM Town, is now open!

IRIAM Town is the official community hub where Streamers and Viewers can gather and connect outside of individual streams.

We’re also planning campaigns that happen only on Discord, so please feel free to join anytime.

First-timers—and even people who are just a little curious about IRIAM—are more than welcome.

3) Daily Streaming Badge / Event End Times ⏰

Recently, we’ve received some reports like:

“I stream properly, but my Daily Streaming Badge got removed.”

In many cases, this was caused by a misunderstanding of the rollover time used for daily counts.

(IRIAM has multiple rollover timings, which can be confusing—sorry about that…🙇)
