This page will give you a quick introduction to what IRIAM is all about!
Whatās IRIAMļ¼
IRIAM is an app specifically tailored for virtual streaming, available on both iPhone and Android.
On November 15, 2024, the IRIAM US version will have its beta launch for users living in the U.S. šŗšø
Originally launched six years ago in Japan, back when the term "Vtuber" was still unfamiliar, IRIAM started small and built everything from the ground up.
Today, IRIAM is the top choice in Japan for anyone who wants to become a Virtual Streamer, and that's all thanks to our incredible streamers and viewers!
We're so happy that IRIAM has become the foundation of many people's virtual lives.
Up until now, IRIAM was only available in Japan, but we're thrilled that the time is coming for U.S. users to experience it too!
Vertical Streaming Designed for Smartphones
IRIAM is an app specifically made for vertical virtual streaming on smartphones.

On the right, you can see the moment when a viewer sent a "Focus" gift to the streamer.
Streamers can go live using just a smartphoneānothing else needed.
Whether you're traveling, walking around, or lounging in bed, you can start a virtual stream just seconds after the thought crosses your mind.
Many of the Virtual Streamers who first tried IRIAM were amazed and delighted, saying things like, "I can't believe I can move so smoothly and beautifully just using my smartphone!" (For us on the IRIAM team, seeing their virtual expressions change from š® to š is one of the happiest moments!)
The app's focus on smartphones is also a big plus for viewers.
With IRIAM, streams feel incredibly "close"āboth the Streamers and other viewers seem right there with you. This kind of experience is something unique to smartphone streaming.
For those used to watching streams on a PC, it might feel a bit strange at first. But we definitely encourage you to give streaming on IRIAM a tryāyou might just love it!
Near-zero latency
One of IRIAM's standout features is its low latency, which makes communication much smoother.
In streaming, latency affects communication more than most people realize.
Youāve probably felt those awkward pauses during remote meetingsāmoments that wouldnāt happen in person.
Thatās a clear example of latency at work, but it also subtly disrupts virtual communication, making it less natural and lively.
In IRIAM, streaming, comments, and gifting are fine-tuned to minimize lag.
This is made possible by our pioneering technology, called 'Motion Live technologyā.
Regular stream viewers will likely notice and be impressed by the difference!
A Variety of In-App Events
Weāre also planning to bring a range of in-app events to IRIAM.
These are temporary events that streamers can join freely, offering a wide array of prizes and usually running for about a week.
In Japan, some popular in-app events include:
- Collaboration cafes
- Billboards displayed across various locations
- Custom-made original song production just for you
- Get a plushie of IRIAMās mascot, Shirasu
ā Shirasu !
The formats for these events vary, with elements such as the number of gifts received, random draws, or the total viewing time, among others.
In Japan, we host dozens of events every month, and we plan to gradually roll out more events in the U.S. starting with the beta launch.
